Okay, why did I start this blog? Hmmm..I don’t know..hahaha! Just kidding! I have a couple of reasons why I’ve decided to start a mom blog.
First, I want to continue my learning. I don’t want to be a stagnant person. I’ve known some other women (I wish you are not one of them) who became a mom and they thought hanggang doon na lang sila. You know..washing the dishes, cleaning the house, going to the supermarket, cooking food, chatting with neighbors every morning, and playing bingo with them in the afternoon, browsing Facebook and Instagram. Then when the husband’s salary day comes and he gives her money, she complains how insufficient it is. Then tomorrow she goes back again to her routine. She doesn’t even bother to make a change with her situation. She just literally goes with the flow.
If you want to do that for the rest of your life, by all means, of course, you can do that. I have nothing against it. Hopefully, you’ll realize that no matter how difficult your situation is, you can do something to improve yourself, little by little. You just have to open your mind for possibilities and the willingness to learn something new.
Second, I want to share my life experiences with the world, with a hope to inspire every woman, especially moms like me. You will see me posting content related to food, travel, parenting, health & fitness, working from home, product reviews, events. Everything that interests me. 🙂
I’m just an ordinary person but I know I have unique gifts that I can share (wink). Yes, I do believe everyone has their own story to tell, no matter how big or small your status in society is. We all have 24 hours in a day. The question is..how do you spend your day? Are you being productive? Are you doing something to make an impact to help others? Are you using your time to make your life better? Or you’re just wasting your time and pestering others? Haha! I’m hoping not the latter.
Third, I want to be a better writer. When I was in elementary and high school, I always joined an editorial writing contest, and I remember I won 2 times! Weh! My dream as a child is to be a journalist, but I don’t know what happened, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Of course, I have no regrets because it was in my college days that I met my husband. We’re in fact classmates hehe!
I must admit I’m not really good at writing in English. So expect some grammar errors on my post haha. I’m continuously learning 🙂 I’m using GRAMMARLY to correct my spelling and grammar. In my opinion, it’s a great tool! Try it!
That’s all I can think of for now. This blog is like my life’s journal but a very special journal because I let others learn with me. So let’s be friends and follow each other on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube!
Thanks for reading!
